Walk the Walk for Alexa

This Saturday, May 17, 2009 marks one year since the collision that tragically took our daughter, Alexa’s, life and seriously injured Auntie Daphne.  In an effort to focus ahead, and embrace the support of the community, we are proud to be walking in the “Walk the Walk for Alexa”.  This initiative was initiated by the lovely Linda Docolas, who wanted to tangibly support our family, but also remind all the community that there are so many options in our community other than drinking and driving.  We are overwhelmed with the support, and strangely, are looking forward to the 17th. Ironic and strange, but the love and support of a community have embraced us, and it has made a difference.  No doubt, we are still broken people, but oddly, feel strangely elevated due to this support.  Bless all of you who are with us in thought and in spirit.  We KNOW it, and we FEEL it, but more importantly, you need to know that it makes a difference!

Thank you,

Fondly,

Laurel
